If We Could've Dug Em', Our Forts Would've Had Moats.

Sitting in my sister's bed with my laptop and she with her DVD player, I scowl at the laziness that has crept over us. An hour ago, we were bouncing around and getting ready to build a fort.

Ah, building forts...
I remember the good ole' days when a blanket, sheet, and pillow-constructed fort entertained the two of us for hours on end, and I mean hours! We even spent multiple nights in our home-made tents. And, if they were really good, Daddy would even stop and check them out.

We planned to build such a memory tonight, but here we are- sitting in bed with technology on our laps rather than imagination in our living room.
Boo.

114.

114 days and I graduate.
114 days and I am thrust out into the real world.
114 days and I can't wait.

Current dream:
I attend a college in New York. Get any old job I can, work for my money and shop it away. The prospect of strutting down the streets of Manhattan in my hard-earned, payed for heels and with shopping bags in my hands is thrilling. The idea of living in my own loft, studio apartment, or even a room above the local pizzeria is invigorating. I'll splatter paint the walls, decorate every room down to the molding and clean every inch because it'll be my home. My place to return to every night. My bed to tuck into. My lights to turn off and my dishes to wash.

I'll have to start looking into schools in New York.
